It's quiet here. Too quiet. There's no birds or animals, no signs of life anywhere. Just the creaking of the trees. And the occasional snap of a twig.
Your footsteps ring out in the silence, calling out to whatever is among the trees. You wish you weren't wearing such heavy boots.
The flashlight from your phone just barely cuts through the darkness. You see tree after tree, each one identical to the last. Are you even getting anywhere?
How did you even get here? You have no memory of this place, but it seems familiar.
Why don't you stop and rest a minute, child? Take your mind off your troubles.
Ignore the ominous whispers of those who came before.
Ignore my followers watching nearby.
