On the Boat to Far Harbor
As you look back at the Commonwealth fading into the horizon, you set your sights north, to Mount Desert Island. The ocean is starting to get choppy, and the sounds of thunder in the distance can be heard. The boat's engine hums, and the steering wheel makes a few turns. Luckily, this boat can get you there without much assistance.
You and your companion look around at the open water. You think about what might be under the waves. Are the rumors about a giant, ghoul whale true? You gaze over the side for a minute and wonder. Your companion shifts positions on the bench. The creaking jars you back to reality. You sit down with them, and prepare for the adventure that lies ahead.
