Inside Vault 81- The Atrium
Once you exit the elevator, you are greeted by the smell of cleaning solvents, ammonia in particular. Dwellers walk up and down the halls, tending to whatever needs done to keep the vault functioning. You hear the echoing of construction- metal banging metal. The smell of metal and clean dirt is all over the atrium, where dwellers gather and use the facilities provided. The lights are bright, and the walls are mostly light grey metal, with pastel colors here and there.
The fluorescent lights in certain areas of the vault make the distinctive buzzing sound, and the footsteps on tile can be heard throughout. Quiet conversations litter the halls and stairwells. You see some dwellers sitting on benches, playing with a small grey cat.
