Far Harbor Forest
You walk cautiously, looking over your shoulder every few steps. The mist is thick in areas, and you have trouble seeing a foot in front of you. The mist causes your geiger counter to spike. There is little light, even though it is daytime.
The air smells of pine, dirt, and rotting animals, with a gentle hint of ocean salt. The mist smells faintly synthetic, though you are hesitant to breathe when you are in it. You can hear the faint cries of wolves behind you, and sometimes the wails of trappers who went mad from the fog.
If you stay here to long, you worry you will go mad as well. You can already hear whispering in your ear.
