Deadlock Night Watch
You've landed with guard duty again. At least the night is nice. Coyotes call in the distance and the campfire keeps you warm from the chilly desert night breezes.
Behind you, inside the base, you can hear people walking the catwalks and bottles being exchanged, or the ring of practice in the makeshift gun range. Occasionally the sound of an old song warbling along of a stolen record player filters out to you too.
Well, its going to be a long night. So relax, kick up your feet, and light a cigar as you settle in.
