Castle Infirmary
Curie and her apprentice run tests and record results well into the evening. As the rest of the castle works away on farming and building, the scientists tend to the ill or wounded, while creating new medicines, or researching prewar diseases.
You sit on the empty chair in the corner of the room, watching as Curie types on her terminal, while her apprentice grinds plants into medicines. The room smells of fresh herbs, and antiseptic, and the sun casts warm afternoon light in through the archway.
