Asleep in the Commonwealth
The sun has gone down. You have been traveling all day and now you stop to get some rest. You pull out a musty, dirty sleeping bag and roll it out behind some bushes. You place your bag inside the bottom of it and crawl inside. You shut your eyes.
You hear crickets and all the sounds of nighttime. Overpowering these sounds is the distant booming of gunshots. You hear this from all sides- you are surrounded by battles. This bush was the safest place for you to rest at the moment, and you hope and pray that the fighting stays far away from you until you awaken in the morning, ready to continue your journey.
