An Evening in Haafingar
You are the Dragonborn and you are resting in the forest outside of Solitude. You are camped at the edge of the lake outside the city and the sounds of the forest surround you. From time to time a wolf howls in the distance and sometimes this howl is replaced with the roar of a faraway dragon. Your steed Fralia is grazing near you and every now and then she snorts and shakes her mane to rid herself of flies.
Pulling your journal from your pack you reach into the small campfire you have built and pull out a small stick with a charred end. When the stick has cooled you use it as a makeshift quill writing down your adventures from escaping Helgen to your trepidation at infiltrating the Thalmor Embassy tomorrow. There are no clouds in the sky and the moon is full and glowing white.
